The purpose of this post is to cover writing elements that are specific to the “Infographic” content type. Before continuing, you should read the General Post Writing post.
Infographics are very easy. Simply upload the infographic as the featured image, fill in a short description in the post body and the post excerpt and publish. In order for infographic thumbnails to display properly, it may be necessary to select the crop size and location. This can be done using the metabox immediately below the featured image box:
Note: for large infographics, it may be necessary to upload the infographic as a separate “Media” item before setting it as the featured image. For very large infographics, it may be necessary to upload it as a media using the “browser upload” feature.
