Analytics for section supporters

Please find below an overview of the reports that we in the Corporate team send regularly to our section supporters. You will also find links to download recent reports so that you have an idea of what they look like. Please note that visually, reports may be slightly different as I am continuously trying to provide a clearer, more readable layout.

We are contractually engaged to provide clients with at least two reports during the year of section support: the Achievement Report, and the Mid-Term Report.

  • Achievement Report. When a client signs an order form for a yearly section support on EurActiv.com, we are contractually obliged to deliver an Achievement Report containing analytics, data, and any other insights relevant to the section, the modules that the client have chosen, and their advertising credits (whether they have used them to run banner ads, distribute videos, or distribute infographics).
  • Mid-Term Report. Besides the Achievement Report, we also produce a Mid-Term Report after six months of section support. This is helpful for our clients to get a ‘first taste’ of the kind of data and analytics we can provide. Clients sometime have a look at the Mid-Term Report and say that they are interested in a specific data set (e.g. number of unique visitors from the European Parliament), so we look more in detail – as much as we can – on that data set for the Achievement Report.

Besides those two reports, we always deliver reports whenever a sponsored module is implemented, and we can get analytics for it. These are the stats that we are able to retrieve for each module:

  • Special Report:
    • page views and unique visitors from all readers,
    • page views and unique visitors from CORE readers (including breakdown by institutions),
    • top articles, social media shares,
    • clicks and impressions of related advertising (both banners and newsletters).
