Resources on participatory governance

This post brings together resources on participatory governance circulated by Laurent.

(I’ve added some reading of my own in order to explore the use of the comments function on this Mothership blog ).

A blog for internal comms can be useful because Email is where information goes to die, while Yammer and its ilk is all about the Fomo.

Hence this second exploratory post, which does not much more than reproduce an email’s content (while being easier to find and have a conversation about).

Short introductions

Laloux on Reinventing organizations

Getz, Zobrist and co on Liberating organizations

Dennis Bakke on the advice process

This comment is more to discover how comments work out of the box in this blog, but for the sake of it my favourite post on this topic is First, Let’s Get Rid of All the Bosses: http://www.newrepublic.com/article/122965/can-billion-dollar-corporation-zappos-be-self-organized

This is one of 10 posts about holacracy on my Hub: http://mathewlowry.tumblr.com/tagged/holacracy
(I know that we’re not implementing it, but that’s how I tag this topic on my Hub).

I thought there were more, actually. Other relevant topics include fow (future of work) and maybe digital transformation, leadership, management, organisation …
